Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I listen to the sessions?
For the best start, listen daily for the first 7 days.
From weeks 2–3, aim for 3 to 5 times per week.
After that, move to maintenance at 1 to 2 times per week, or more often if you enjoy the ritual.
How long until I notice results?
Everyone responds differently. Some people notice changes immediately, while others experience gradual shifts over days or weeks. Consistency is key — repeated listening strengthens new patterns and behaviours.
Can I listen while driving or operating machinery?
No. These sessions are designed to induce deep relaxation or trance. Always listen in a safe, quiet environment where you won’t be disturbed.
Can I fall asleep during the session?
Yes — and that’s perfectly fine. Even if you drift into sleep, you’ll still benefit from the relaxation and any suggestions delivered up until that point.
However, it’s important to understand that hypnosis (trance) and sleep are not the same. Hypnosis typically induces a theta brainwave state — a deeply relaxed but receptive mode of mind — while real sleep falls into a delta brainwave state, which is far more passive and focused on rest and physical restoration.
Sometimes it may feel as though you’ve been asleep, but often this is because the hypnosis has occupied your conscious mind so deeply that the experience feels dreamlike or hazy. This is actually a sign of a deep, effective trance, not just sleep.
What’s the difference between the conscious and unconscious mind?
Your conscious mind is the part of you that thinks logically, analyzes situations, plans, and makes decisions in the moment. It’s active and alert — but also limited in capacity.
Your unconscious mind is much deeper. It stores your memories, habits, emotions, automatic responses, and the beliefs that shape your daily life. Hypnosis works by gently relaxing the conscious mind, allowing the unconscious mind to become more open and receptive to positive suggestions. This is why lasting changes — whether in confidence, habits, or emotional patterns — often happen naturally and even effortlessly after repeated listening.
Are there any contraindications?
Yes. Do not use these audios if:
-
You have epilepsy triggered by flashing lights or sound
-
You have been diagnosed with psychosis or a serious psychiatric condition
-
You have any medical condition that makes relaxation unsafe
Note: It is not recommended to listen while under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, as this can interfere with the effectiveness of the session.
If you are unsure, consult your doctor or healthcare provider before using hypnosis audio.
Is hypnosis safe?
Yes — hypnosis is a natural, safe state of focused attention and relaxation. You remain in control throughout the experience and can stop the session at any time by opening your eyes.
Can hypnosis make me do something against my will?
No. Hypnosis cannot make you do anything you don’t want to do. These sessions are designed to support your goals and help you access your own resources for positive change.
Should I use headphones?
Headphones are recommended for the best experience, especially for audios with layered soundscapes or binaural elements. However, standard speakers are fine if you’re in a quiet environment.
What’s the best time of day to listen?
Whenever you can relax without interruption. Many people prefer early morning to set the tone for the day, or at night to drift into sleep. Some sessions are even designed specifically for sleep or to transition you into rest rather than bringing you fully awake at the end. Others include a full wake-up sequence as standard. Choose a time when you can give the session your full attention for the best results.
Can I use more than one session at a time?
Yes, but it’s usually best to focus on one goal at a time for at least two weeks before adding another audio. This allows your unconscious mind to fully integrate the changes. You can also use different audios aimed at a similar outcome — for example, two sessions for confidence or stress release — but it’s best to allow at least 24 hours between sessions to give your mind time to adjust to the neurological changes taking place.
Can I use hypnosis alongside therapy or medication?
Yes — hypnosis can complement other therapies and treatments. However, it should not replace medical or psychological care. Always follow your healthcare provider’s advice.
Can I request a specific audio?
